In the framework of the EC Day 2019 initiative, THEMA Project with the cooperation of the INTERREG Greece-Albania 2014-2020 Programme will organise two Treasure Hunt Games in the areas of Gjirokastra (Albania) and Vikos-Aoos UNESCO Geopark (Zagori and Konitsa, Greece).
The Treasure Hunt in the Vikos-Aoos UNESCO Geopark (https://greece-albania.eu/events/day-2019-treasure-hunt-zagori) will be based on a story of a wedding back in the previous century, in 1928. The father of the bride offered the groom with a contract with all the things he gave as presents to the new couple. A small detail on the contract enhances a trip to a secret treasure!
The Treasure Hunt in Gjirokastra (https://greece-albania.eu/events/day-2019-treasure-hunt-gjirokastra-region) will be based on a story of a little boy grew to be a great “chronican” of the stone city and his “Chronicle in Stone” is the testament that hides a great value treasure to be discovered.
