The second route covers a large area within the Regional Unit of Ioannina and is dedicated to the local products and gastronomy of the region, with wine and cheese as its main focus. It includes the vineyard zone of Zitsa and Metsovo, and the secondary wine production of Pogoni and Konitsa. In addition, it aims to reveal all modern cheese production tradition in Pogoni and Metsovo. The goal is to inform the visitor about the local products that he can taste in those areas. The route aims to combine information and sightseeing with valuable nature and culture monuments, education and gastronomy.
